LE BOOK

Are you a bookaholic? Is the first question you ask your visitors "What books have you brought" rather than "How are you?" If so...

LE BOOK is the answer to the English-speaking bookaholic's continual search for something new to read. It's a just-for-fun, non profit-making, bring-and/or-buy book sale which will take place in Gabian once a month for the foreseeable future.

But it's not just for the Brits: any student or amateur of the English language in quest of reading material will be warmly welcomed.

If you just want to come and browse, that's fine. If you have surplus books you want to sell, this is the place to do it. If you simply fancy a cup of coffee with like-minded people, come and join us.

Here are the details:

The place: café-bar l'Escale, Gabian. This is in the middle of Gabian on the D13 - the main road from Roujan to Faugères - on the left-hand side as you come from Roujan.

The date: usually the last Sunday of each month. Confirmed dates so far are:  Sunday July 20 2003  Sunday August 31 2003  Sunday September 28 2003  Sunday October 26 2003

The time: set-up from 10:15 a.m. doors open 11 a.m. The cost: entrance is free to all buyers. For sellers there is a nominal fee to cover our expenses of 2€ for a table (tables supplied)
